consider the following factors when you select a bottle for your baby. The bottle is necessary for both formulae milk feeding breast pumped milk feeding. Select bottle with anti-colic valve. Generally, some babies have colic pain in their third or fourth week. Usually, the baby is communicating is through his cry but the colic cry is high pitched and he seems fussy .colic pain usually comes around in the evening and it continues later evening. The baby is swallowing air during drinking the milk.it forms gases in his stomach and causes pain.to avoid this some brands manufacturing anti-colic bottles. in its nipple allow the air into the bottle, not into the baby’s tummy.

Select soft silicone nipple and odorless too. breast-shaped nipple gives the feel of the natural latch to the baby. buy an ergonomically shaped bottle for easy holding on feeding time. bottle with a wider neck and fewer parts makes easy cleaning. select un leaked bottle while feeding. bottle with the easy measurement as per your choice. The size of the bottle depends on your baby’s mouth. A small size transition bottle with 4 or 5 ounces(120ml or 150ml) is enough for a 0-3month baby. if you select a glass bottle buy a silicone to avoid breakage if it is plastic choose BPA-free.

 In India from older days When a new baby is born in an Indian family, silverware is introducing to the child and his mother. The reason behind this is completely bacteria-free. silver vessel increases the immunity of the kid. helps to stay food, water, milk fresh for an extended time. you need to be alert buying pure silverware. mostly I used silver utensils for my child. But nowadays stainless steel bottles are also available if you prefer consult with your doctor and go for it.

Cleaning process

Sterilizing bottles is very important to prevent sickness in your little ones. wash the hands properly. take apart all the parts of the bottle and wash under running water with soaps. specially dishwashing liquids for cleaning baby product is available, you can choose any one of them .clean the parts with dedicated brush and allow them to air dry completely on a cleaned rack. To sanitize put the dried parts in the boiling water for five minutes on the stovetop or you can use the microwave too.

Bottle-feeding positions

Bottle-feeding isn't hard but there are several important things to remember to keep the baby safe and the mum comfortable the position during bottle-feeding should be as similar as possible

to that used for breastfeeding to prevent choking and improper suckling, we must follow a few positioning rules during the feeding the baby's pelvis and spine must be perpendicular and the baby's head and torso in a straight line the baby should be fed half-line or half-sitting so that it doesn't choke we may use one of the following positions classic hold facing the adult or on its side in the classic hold the baby sits in the moms lap its bottom is supported by one of her thighs and it's backed by the other thigh which has slightly lifted its head breasts in her elbow bent or supported by her hand this position gives a sense of closeness between the

mom and her baby when they face each other the mom sits comfortably on the floor with her back against a couch legs bent the baby lies against her thighs with its bottom against her belly the baby's pelvis and spine are positioned transversely the baby's back to straight, not arched babies really enjoy this position it permits eye contact between the mom and her baby at all times the physician on the side is good for babies who often regurgitate while feeding the mum sits on the floor with support under her back her legs bent the baby lies on its side against one thigh with its back and head supported on the other thigh the bottom is supported on the belly

How long you could use bottles and nipples

if you use a BPA-free bottle replace it every six months, if it is non-BPA FREE replace it every three months once.if you notice any cracks, leaks, and discoloration discard them.If you notice any crack on the glass bottle discard it immediately. replacing nipples is more important than a bottle. replace nipples for every one month. if you see any discoloration, excess tear at the tip it causes choking to your little ones so change it immediately.
