HOW TO MAKE BABIES SLEEP
A newborn baby can sleep 18 hours a day. during the daytime baby sleeps, every 30 minutes to three hours .he takes 3-4 naps in the daytime. baby will sleep9-12 hours at night time, also wake you in between for feeding. at a later stage, the frequency will reduce but still wake up for feeding. Make your child get a nap n every two hours, at two weeks teach your baby the difference between day and night. interact more with your baby in the daytime. keep your room as bright and don’t worry about daytime noises.

Sleeping position
Sleeping position is more important make ensure to sleep in the correct position. ideal position for a baby is to sleep on the back is the safe and best position. the back position is recommended for babies throughout the night. avoid sleep on his tummy it makes baby too difficult to breathe. sleeping on a side position is also not recommended. keep the room cool at night make sound sleep. avoid soft toys and pillows place inside the baby’s cradle it will accidentally cover the baby’s head.
Tips to make sleep well at night

make consistent same bedtime routine.
put light clothes, ensure clothes are not too tight or loose. In India, temperate is a moderate one, so I put simply light cotton clothes on my baby. if you use an airconditioned room make sure to swaddle the baby correctly or put on a onesie cloth to make a sound sleep.
make your room with dim light use the same room.
.play some soothing, white noise that will calm your baby, try it through machine or apps. introduce some lullabies or humming sounds to your baby.
don’t make them alert or active before bedtime. many babies fall asleep on their own at 6-8 weeks
